The yarn base is called Lovely, and we really think it is. It is a 4-ply, 75% fine superwash merino/25% nylon, light fingering weight sock yarn. With 100 grams/460 yards, there is plenty of yardage for a pair of socks or a shawl. This yarn also makes excellent light weight garments.
