How has your back-to-school season been? I don't have kids in school, and I've long since graduated, but I believe in lifelong learning. Later this week I will be headed to Massachusetts to learn about shadow knitting, embroidering on knitting, and designing shawls with a few outstanding knitting instructors.
I would love to be in 2 places at once, but unfortunately while I am in Massachusetts I will not be here to ship out any orders. Any orders for in-stock items that are placed Sunday (today) or Monday will ship on Tuesday. And I just restocked the Etsy shop!

Needles and Notions
Orders for in-stock items placed later in the week will ship out on Monday 09/18. Dyed to order items are not affected. And speaking of dyed-to-order items...
You may have noticed a recent increase in the turn around times for orders that contain dyed to order listings. Partially that is because I will not be dyeing yarn this week, but the bigger cause is just that there have been an increase in orders lately. I want to thank you so much for supporting Dyeabolical and showing so much enthusiasm for my yarn. I want to especially thank you for being willing to wait for just the right yarn to reach your doorstep.
Once I get back from Massachusetts I will be spending a few weeks working on outstanding orders and dyeing inventory for the Gateway Knitters Retreat on on October 7. All orders placed before 9/1 will ship within 4 weeks of the ordering date. Orders that were placed after 9/1 will ship within 5 weeks of the ordering date. After that everything should go back to the normal 3 week turn around time. If you ever have a question about what the current dyeing times then you can check the note at bottom of this page or contact me.
The Gateway Knitters Retreat has a market place from 2-4pm on October 7 that is open to the public. It is a small show, generally 4 or 5 vendors. The marketplace is in the meeting room at the Drury Hotel on Hampton in St. Louis, MO.
